Christopher Lee "Chris" Lane, 36, of Jesup, Ga. died Monday, February 5, 2024. The Wayne County native was a Christian and attended New Bethel Baptist Church and was an employee with Healthy Pet Industries and was named "Employee of the Month and Year" with the company. In his off time, he loved fishing and playing video games, entertaining people with his wit and was an avid "Bulldog fan". He was predeceased by his father, Eric Johnson; uncle, David Lane.

Survivors are his mother and step Dad, Lisa (William Billy) Crews of Jesup; grandparents and care givers, Mabel and Grady Marr of Jesup; brothers, Derick and Steven Lane both of Jesup; step sister, Michelle Marple of Baxley; aunt, Donna Brankel of Rock, Kansas.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m., Friday, February 9, 2024 from O'Quinn Baptist Church with Rev. Dennie Waters and Rev. Gerald Greenlee officiating. Interment will follow in O'Quinn Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be family and friends. Honorary pallbearers will be his coworkers of Healthy Pet Industry.

Family will receive friends from 10:00-11:00 a.m. prior to services at the church.
