Christopher Clinton Crosby, 40, of Jesup died Tuesday, September 4, 2018.  The Glynn County, Georgia native had lived in Jesup the past 10 years and attended University of Georgia and Georgia Southern University.  Chris achieved Eagle Scout status in 1996, enjoyed his work at the Crab Trap Restaurant on St. Simons Island and golfing.  He was predeceased by his mother, Cheryl Shupe Crosby; grandparents, Bob and Evelyn Shupe and Groover and Nadine Crosby.

Survivors are his dad, Groover Clinton Crosby, Jr. of Jesup; a brother, Craig Crosby of Charleston, South Carolina; Aunts, Deborah Pumpelly, Patti Crawford, Mitzi Smith, Barbara Hilley;  an uncle,  Bobby Shupe; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 11 AM, Thursday, September 6, 2018 at Jesup First Baptist Church with Pastor Mike Von Moss officiating.  Interment will be in Pinecrest Memorial Cemetery.  Active pallbearers are Derek Landon, Don Landon, Len Lewis, Robbie Poppell and Ricky Bennett.

Visitation will be 10 to 11 AM prior to services at the church.
