Christopher J. Riendeau, 35, of Screven, Ga. passed away on Sunday, June 28, 2026 after a long battle with a heart condition. The Wayne County native was a Baptist and a mechanic. He loved his nieces and nephews and enjoyed taking care of them. His mother who he dearly loved, Tina Thornton Riendeau preceded him in death along with his grandparents, Jesse James Thornton, Thelma Lee Edenfield and Gordon “Yank” Riendeau; uncles, Craig Thornton and Mike Riendeau.

Survivors are his father, Chris Riendeau; a sister, Ashlee (Michael) Washburn; a brother, Dylan (Madison) Riendeau, all of Screven; nieces and nephews, Mackaylee, Cameron, Hunter, Ivy, Daxton, Maggie and Dallas; grandmothers, Irene Riendeau of Screven and Diane Roerson (Lamar) of Middleburg, Fl.

A celebration of his life will be 3 PM Thursday, July 2, 2026 at Rinehart Chapel with Rev. Stanley Todd officiating. Interment will be in the Riendeau Family Cemetery.

Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the funeral home.
