Christina "Christie" Denise Thompson, 47, of Jesup, died Monday, July 10, 2023. The Wayne Co., Ga, native was a member of the Parkway Church of God and received a bachelor's degree from Brewton Parker College. Her main interests were studying the Bible, NASCAR racing, and being an aunt to her 10 nieces and nephews.

Survivors are her parents, Willie and Charlene Thompson of Jesup, 2 brothers, Aaron (Teesa) Thompson of Alma, Jonathan (Shay) Thompson of Jesup, a sister, Wendy (Joe) Nolan of Charleston, SC, several aunts and uncles.

Memorial services will be held 2 pm, Wednesday, July 12, 2023, at the Rinehart and Sons Chapel with Ministers Bill and Rita Harper officiating. Private interment will be in Thompson Cemetery.

The Rinehart and Sons Funeral Home of Jesup is in charge of the arrangements.
