Cheryl Lynn Wainwright, 65, of Screven, Ga. passed away on Tuesday, February 7, 2023 after a long illness.  The Glynn County native was a medical biller with several companies. She enjoyed politics, crafts and animals. Her father, James Rollan Crews preceded her in death along with her sister, Melissa Ann Crews.

Survivors are a son, Patrick (Micala) Wainwright of Blackshear; a daughter, Christina (Ryan) Goldsmith of Clarksville, Tenn.; her mother, Betty Crews of Patterson; sister, Donna Blocker of Patterson; brothers, Matt (Brande) Crews of Screven and Nick Crews of Patterson; 6 grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Private memorial services will be held by the family.

Rinehart and Sons Funeral Home of Jesup is in charge of arrangements.
