Charles "Charlie" "Tuna" Pendleton, 78, of Jesup passed away, Thursday, October 2, 2025. The Washington, D.C. native was known as the "Diesel Doctor" and he was a U. S. Navy Veteran. He joined the Patriot Guard in 2011 and was ride captain for over 60 missions. He was predeceased by his wife, Patricia King Pendleton, and a son, Jeffery Pendleton.

Survivors are a daughter, Cheryl Pendleton of Shakopee, Minn.; two sons, Sheridan "Dan" Pendleton of Missouri and Marshall Pendleton of Maryland; a sister, Betty Pendleton of Florida; a brother, Wizard Pendleton of Florida; 7 grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.

Memorial services will be 11:00 a.m., Thursday, October 9, 2025, at the Ludowici  Methodist Church with Pastor Walt "Shephard"" Pelton  officiating. Graveside interment  will be in Georgia Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Glennville, Ga. with Pastor Harold "Preacher" Piet officiating.

Family will receive friends from 10:00 -11:00 a.m. prior to the services at the church.
