Carolyn Arnold Harris, 80, of Jesup, Ga. went to her heavenly home on Tuesday, October 25, 2022. She was born in Ridgeland, South Carolina, but lived most of her life in Wayne County. She was a member of Screven Baptist Church and graduated from Warren A. Candler School of Nursing in 1963. Being a nurse allowed her to care and see about others, which was her passion. She loved to entertain her family and friends, the happiest when her house was full. Her parents James and Vonetta Arnold preceded her in death along with her husband, Ernest Bill Harris, Jr. and her son, Ernest William "Trey" Harris III.

Survivors are her daughters, Pam (Mark) Williams of St. Simons Island and Kim (Craig) Sims of Jesup; four granddaughters, Mary Katelyn (Troy) Bland of St. Simons Island, Miranda (Alex) Bradford of Macon, Cara Laine (Patrick) Riley of Suwanee and Kenzlee Sims of Jesup; two sisters, Rosie (Bobby) Miller and Linda Fennell and one brother, Jimmy Arnold, all of Jesup; five great-grandchildren who were the apples of her eye.

A Celebration of Life service will be 11AM Thursday, October 27, 2022 at Rinehart Chapel with Joey Fennell officiating. Family will receive friends an hour before the service.
