Carolyn Herndon Fales, 79, of Jesup, went to her eternal home on Wednesday, June 18, 2025. The Appling Co., GA, native had lived most of her life in Wayne County and was a member of Cornerstone United Pentecostal Church. She was a retired employee with Georgia Narrow Fabrics, and in her leisure time she enjoyed sewing and cooking for her family. She was predeceased by a sister, Virginia Roach, and a brother, Herman Herndon.

Survivors are her husband of 62 years, Edward Fales of Jesup, daughter, Paula (Austen) Key of Lumberton, NC, 2 sons, Vince (Donna) Fales, Greg (Shanleigh K.) Fales, both of Jesup, brother, Harvey (Wanda) Herndon of Baxley, 2 sisters, Catherine (Sammy) Hutto of Jesup, Dottie Nail of Baxley, several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 2 PM, Saturday, June 21, 2025, at the Rinehart and Sons Chapel with Rev. Ray Worley and Pastor Timothy Bush officiating. Interment will be in the Flint Branch Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be family.

Family will receive friends from 1 to 2 PM, Saturday at the funeral home.
