Carolyn "Jane" Edenfield Snyder, 82, of Jesup, Ga. passed away on Saturday, August 12, 2023.  The Wayne County native attended New Hope Freewill Baptist Church and was a 1959 graduate of Wayne County High School. She worked many years as a paraprofessional at T.G. Ritch Elementary School. Visiting classmates and family were her favorite times. Her husband of 54 years, Gilbert E. "Duke" Snyder preceded her in death along with parents, Acie and Marie Edenfield; sisters, Catherine Livesay, Janette Morris and Charlotte Moody; a brother, W.A. "Bill" Edenfield.

Survivors are a daughter and son-in-law, Jennifer (Jesus) Jimenez of Jesup; sons and daughter-in-law, Charles (Kim) Snyder of Jesup and Stephen Snyder of Pooler; granddaughters, Paige Mobley and Victoria Jimenez of Jesup; sisters, Sandra Pye, Judy (Larry) Watson, Dana (Middie) Hickox, all of Jesup; numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 11 AM Wednesday, August 16, 2023 at Rinehart Chapel with Elder Randy Strickland officiating. Private burial will follow in the Pinecrest Memorial Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be her family. Honorary pallbearers will be her classmates.

Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the funeral home.
