Carol Hairred, 73 of Jesup died Tuesday, February 11, 2020 under the care of Your Family Hospice.  The Wayne County native and former resident of Brunswick had lived in Wayne County the past several years and was a retired department head of respiratory therapy at Wayne Memorial Hospital. Her hobbies include antiquing, furniture reupholstering, bowling, golfing and sewing.  She was predeceased by her parents, Jesse and Geneva Passmore; a sister, Martha Jean Sears and two brothers, Roy and Pete Passmore.

Survivors are 3 daughters, Tina (Todd) Shoemaker of Savannah, Tanya Darley of Jesup and Brenda Davis Rist of Townsend; a son, Bart Lofton of Jesup; 9 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren; two sisters, Dale Wright and Patsy Mobley, both of Jesup.

Memorial services will be 1 PM Sunday, February 16, 2020 at her residence, 5340 Waycross Highway, Jesup, Ga. 31545.

The family will receive friends at the service.
