Carol Ann Bennett DeLoach, 65, of Screven, Ga. passed away on Wednesday, April 8, 2026. The lifelong Wayne County native and resident was a member of Screven Church of God and a retired seamstress. Her favorite title was “Mawma” to all of her grandchildren and spending time with them was when she was in her happiest days.

Survivors are two daughters, Kelli Hardee and Cansas (Jonathan) Waters, both of Screven; a son, Joseph Hardee of Screven; mother, Ingrid Hols of Melbourne, Fla.; two sisters, Monica Metler and Sylvia Obernuefemann, both of Illinois; 8 grandchildren, Brianna, Kelsea, Jaidyn, Tiernee, A.J., Brinlee, Abbie and J.T.; 4 great grandchildren, Xayleigh, Lou, Ava and Mia; several nieces and nephews.

Memorial services will be held by the family.
