Bret Brooker, 48, of Jesup, Ga. died Tuesday, May 23, 2023.  The Glynn County native had lived in Wayne County all of his life and was a member of Anderson Drive Baptist Church.  He was an ASE certified mechanic and owned BB's Auto Repair.  When he wasn't working, Bret enjoyed fishing, hunting, tinkering with trucks and boats and spending time with his family and dogs. His parents, Douglas and Sandra Brooker preceded him in death.

Survivors are a wife of 23 years, Micki Carter Brooker of Jesup; two daughters, Harley LaShae Robinson and Marissa Brooker, both of Jesup; a son, Cameron Brooker of Jesup; 3 grandchildren, Kayleigh, Kayden and Josie; a sister, Laurie (Hal) Roby of Keysville; a brother, Fred (Tammy) Anderson of Jesup; several nieces and nephews.

A celebration of his life will be 11 AM Friday, May 26, 2023 at Rinehart Chapel with  Rev. Fred Anderson officiating. Private interment will be in the Pinecrest Memorial Cemetery.

Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First Southern Bank, 927 S. First Street, Jesup, GA 31545, c/o Fred Anderson, for medical expenses for Bret.
