Brenda Ann Tippins Leggett, 66, of Jesup, Ga. died Wednesday, March 27, 2024 surrounded by her family.  The Wayne County native was a Baptist and former employee with Wayne Memorial Hospital.  She enjoyed gardening, NASCAR racing and spending time with her children and grandchildren.  She was predeceased by her parents, Lawrence and Nell Tippins.

Survivors are her husband, Charlie Leggett of Jesup; two daughters, Amy (Jeff) Meguiar of Colonial Beach, Va. and Donna Groover of Jesup; sisters, Vicki Brown and special friend, Tony Brigdon and Linda Carter, both of Jesup; 6 grandchildren, Colby, Chelseah, Bradley, Abby, Eric and Derrick; great grandson, Oliver; several nieces and nephews.

Graveside funeral services were held 11 AM Friday, March 29, 2024 in Pinecrest Memorial Cemetery with Rev. Dale Bange officiating.
