Jesup, Ga. Brenda Thrift Butler, 60 of Jesup, Ga., formerly of Brunswick, Ga. died Thursday, September 6, 2012 under the care of Hospice of South Georgia. The Ohio native had lived in Glynn and Wayne Counties all of her life, was a cab driver and a loving mother, grandmother and sister. Survivors are a son, Stanley Butler of Jesup, Ga.; a daughter, Elise Coulter of Ohio; a twin sister, Lorenda Thrift, sisters, Evelyn Roberts, Barbara Westcott, Darlene Folts, and Patty Younger; a brother, Jimmy Guest, 4 grandchildren, Harley, Stephen, Tiffany and Christopher; several nieces and nephews.
