Bobby Wayne Clark, 56, of Hortense, Ga. passed away on Monday, August 10, 2026. The Brunswick, Ga. native had lived in Brantley County all of his life and was a Christian. He enjoyed shrimping,  fishing in the creek and hanging out with his best friend and son-in-love, Tommy. He had a great ability to fix, build, or create just anything like a true “MacGyver”. His father, Nephi Jenson Clark preceded him in death.

Survivors are his wife, Candi Pearce Clark of Hortense; 3 daughters, Sara (AJ) Mitchell, Courtney (Thomas) Head and Kristin (William, Jr.) Lolies, all of Hortense; a son, Richard Smith, Jr. of Hortense; grandchildren, Georgia, William, Amelia, Sadie, Amyiah, Riley, Payton, Jordynn and Richie; his mother, Sue Clark of Hortense and sisters, Tina Clark and Alizay Burgess, both of Hortense; a brother, Shawn Norton, Jr. of Hortense.

Private memorial services will be held by the family.
