Betty Strickland Bennett, 91, of Jesup, Ga. passed away on Friday, August 25, 2023.  The Wayne County native was a member of Trinity Baptist Church and enjoyed all church activities, wordsearch puzzles, reading and watching old westerns.  Her husband, Franklin Leroy Bennett preceded her in death along with sons, Gary Alan Bennett and Charles Robert Bennett.

Survivors are a daughter, Kay (Jay) Aske and a son, Ronnie (Patricia) Bennett, both of Jesup; daughter-in-law, Ann Bennett of Jesup; 3 grandchildren, Tony Bennett, Keith (Marie) Bennett, Magen (Andrew) Barnes; a great grandchild, Ian Bennett.

Funeral services will be 11 AM Monday, August 28, 2023 at Rinehart and Sons Chapel with Rev. Clayton Dowd officiating. Private family burial will follow in the Spring Grove Cemetery.

Visitation will be 3 to 5 PM Sunday, August 27, 2023 at the funeral home.
