Jesup, Ga. Barbara Lane Armagost, 65 of Jesup, Ga. died Wednesday, July 2, 2014 in Wayne Memorial Hospital after an extended illness. The Wayne County, Ga. native was a homemaker, a Baptist and enjoyed singing with others. She was a very generous person that always shared everything she had with anyone who needed it. She was predeceased by her parents, Sherod and Maude Sikes Lane; two brothers, John and Bill Lane; a sister, Vera Flowers. Survivors are her husband of 31 years, George "Ron" Armagost of Jesup, Ga.; a daughter and son-in-law, Angie and Ernie Rolls of Jesup, Ga.; 3 sons, Freddy Miller, Terry and Beverly Miller, Scotty Miller, all of Jesup, Ga.; a sister, Theresa Teston of Jesup, Ga.; 10 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; special caregiver, Tammie Smith Titus. Funeral services will be 1 P.M. Saturday, July 5, 2014 at Rinehart and Sons Chapel with Rev. Wayne Manning officiating. Interment will be in the Odessa Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be her family. Honorary pallbearers will be the employees of the DaVita Dialysis Center of Jesup, Ga. Visitation will be 12 to 1 P.M. prior to services at the funeral home.
