Audrey Louise Eastland, 97, of Jesup, Ga. passed away on Monday, April 13, 2026 in At Home Assisted Living and under the care of Hospice of South Georgia. The Illinois native had lived in North Carolina for many years before moving to Jesup and was a Seventh-Day Adventist. She worked as a draft person at Grayhill, Inc. Her husband, Lester A. Eastland, Jr. preceded her in death along with a grandson, Keith Thurmon, great granddaughter, Nora, and son-in-law, Bill Thurmon, Jr.

Survivors are her two daughters, Marcia Schirdewahn of Illinois and Sandra Thurmon of Bristol; 4 grandchildren, Billy (Tara), Michael (Kate), Matt (Erin), and Kristen (Michael); several great grandchildren and a great-great grandson.

Visitation and viewing will be from 1 PM to 2 PM, Thursday, April 16,2026 in Rinehart Chapel. Interment will be held later in the Bohemian National Cemetery in Chicago, Illinois.
