Annette Ray Moody, 85, of Jesup, Ga. died Saturday, May 14, 2022. The Tattnall County native had lived in Wayne County most of her adult life and was a member of Anderson Drive Baptist Church. She retired from Rayonier Jesup  to work full time alongside her husband Charlie Moody as owner and operator of Moody's Nursery. She was lovingly known for her passion for plants.  She was a caring wife, mother, and grandmother and was predeceased by Charlie J. Moody, her husband of 61 years; a sister, Joyce Todd; brothers, Luther and Bobby Ray.

Survivors are her daughter, Debbie (Don) Pye of Odum; son, Jerry (Shelba) Moody of Jesup; 6 grandchildren, Kimberly (Paul) McCall, Christopher Brian Pye, Brent Pye, Terri Ann Yawn, Christy (Jonathan) Efaw, and Blake Pye; 7 great grandchildren, Tristin and Trenton Yawn, Alexia, Wesley and Shelby McCall, Skylar and Charlie Anna Efaw; brother, Larry (Vaunda Faye) Ray; sisters, Doylene Morgan, Faye Martin, and Judy Blanton; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, May 18, 2022 from Rinehart and Sons Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Dustin Cribbs and Rev. Fred Anderson officiating. Interment will be in the Pinecrest Memorial Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Donnie Ray, Carey Martin, Casey Martin, Owen Deloach, Guillermo Jimenez, Isaias Cormelio, Jose Rodriquez, Edgardo deJesus' and Alfonso Rodriquez. Honorary pallbearers will be The Blessed Ladies Sunday School class of Anderson Drive Baptist Church, the staff of Hospice of South Georgia, and past and present employees of Moody's Nursery.

The family will receive friends from 1:00-2:00 p.m. prior to services at the Rinehart and Sons Chapel.
