Anne S. Burkholder, 84, of Screven, Ga. passed away on Sunday, September 1, 2024 under the care of Hospice of South Georgia.  The Pennsylvania native had lived in Wayne County for the past 41 years was a member of the Lake Grace Mennonite Church. The homemaker enjoyed her family and extended that love with all of the babies she would keep.  Her hobbies were sewing, baking and flower gardening. Her husband of 46 years, Richard W. Burkholder preceded her in death.

Survivors are daughters, Renita Potter of Odum and Rochelle (Hans) Weaver of Screven; sons, Robin (Char) Burkholder of Sarasota, Fla., Richard W. (Beth) Burkholder, II of Lancaster, Ohio, Reinhart (Ruth) Burkholder of Milford, Ind., Ronald (Brandi) Burkholder of Odum; 19 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren; sisters, Sadie Overholt, Katie (Lawrence) Hartshorne, Fran Peterson, Lydia (Dan) Smoker,  Naomi Smoker and Elizabeth (Ralph) Martin; brothers, Emmanuel Stoltzfus, Ben (Barb) Stoltzfus, Jonas (Lois) Stoltzfus, John (Marti) Stoltzfus and Steve (Carol) Stoltzfus; a host of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 10 AM Friday, September 6, 2024 at Rinehart and Sons Chapel.   Interment will follow in the Lake Grace Mennonite Church Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be her sons and grandsons.

Visitation will be 4 to 7 PM Thursday, September 5, 2024 at Lake Grace Mennonite Church.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of South Georgia, 1624 Sunset Blvd., Jesup, GA 31545.
