Ludowici, Ga. Angela Harter Mendez, 33, of Ludowici, Ga. and Murrieta, California, died Saturday, November 20, 2010 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. The Ft. Campbell, Kentucky native, former resident of Ludowici and Hinesville, Ga., was living in Murrieta, California where she was an R.N. at the Tri-Care Medical Center in Oceanside, California. She loved photography and being a mother. Survivors are her husband: Captain Jesus Mendez; children: Destiny Chavis, Madison Chavis, and Israel Mendez; father and step-mother: Drew and Deborah Harter; mother: Susan Espey; sisters: Andrea Davis and Karena Espey; a brother: Robert Jennings. Funeral services will be held 11:00 A.M. Saturday, November 27, 2010 from Ludowici First Baptist Church with Rev. Eric Rentz officiating. Interment will be in the Baggs Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be friends. Visitation will be 10:00 to 11:00 A.M. prior to services from the church.
