Jesup, Georgia Andrew "Jack" Lastinger, 88, of Jesup, GA, died Monday, January 24, 2011, in the Wayne Memorial Hospital after an extended illness. The Wayne Co., GA, native was a retired Babcock and Wilcox employee after 32 years of services. He was a U. S. Navy Veteran of World War II and loved visiting and riding around to see friends. He was predeceased by his parents: Ed & Romania Hill Lastinger, 2 sons: Johnny Edward Lastinger & James Ralph Rogers. Survivors are a daughter & son-in-law: Jackie (Alvin) Howard of Jesup, GA, a sister: Melba Mills of Tampa, FL, a grandson: Timmy Rozier, step-granddaughter: Kandice Busha, great-grandchild: Caelyn Rozier, 2 step-great-grandchildren: Morgan & Cameron Busha, several nieces & nephews. Private memorial services will be held by the family. Visitation will be 5 to 7 P. M. Tuesday, January 25, 2011, from the funeral home.
