Obituary

"Manda" Brown Hingston, a true firebrand known amongst her family, friends and colleagues passed away August 28th from a short illness. "Ms Manda" as her students and bus riders affectionaly called her. She found her calling and true passion when she stepped on the big yellow bus or walked in the classroom. She was an avid reader, crafter and boy was she a fighter for every cause that sparked her direction. Amanda loved her kids and all her girls. She was a girl scout leader, basketball & baseball coach, and the list goes on. For someone who led with I hate kids, she followed with a passion and love for each and every mind she touched.

Amanda is survived by her parents, Dave & Debbie Brown, her husband, Brad Hingston, her son, Colten Brown, her daughter, Brooklyn (Shayne) Hingston, her daughter, Braelyn Hingston, her son Elijah Miller, her brother (wife), Jamie and Crystal Brown, and many nieces, nephews, and most importantly her friends.

We invite the community near and far to a􀆩end a remembrance in her honor on Tuesday, September 5th from 4p-5p at Martha Rawls Smith Elementary School cafeteria.  Her family will be there to greet you, share some stories, tell some tales, and li􀅌 our prayers to someone we hope impacted your life as much as you impacted hers.

God Bless,

The Hingston's (Manda, Brad, Colt, Brooke, Brae and Elijah)
