Alice Carolyn Pearson, 83, of Jesup, Ga. passed away on Sunday, July 12, 2026. The Pierce County native had lived in Wayne County most of her life and was a former owner and operator of several convenience stores and flower shops. Her son, James T. Pearson, Jr. preceded her along with siblings and a great grandson, Carter James Dukes.

Survivors are her two daughters, Eleanor Pye and Darlene Parker, both of Jesup; a son, Kevin Pearson of Wichita, Ks.; 8 grandchildren, Michelle Dukes, Kassey Harper, Alex Pye, Tayler Davis, Ashton, Adrian, Joani and Skylar Pearson; 5 great grandchildren, Joshalyn Marple, Michaela Ribron, Owen and Allie Pye, Logan Pearson; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 11 AM Wednesday, July 15, 2026 at Rinehart Chapel with grandson, Alex Pye officiating. Interment will follow in the New Hope Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be her family.

Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the funeral home.
