Alice Lyons Barfield, 94, of Jesup, Ga. passed away on Thursday, June 19, 2025.  The Manor, Ga. native had lived in Wayne County the past 40 years and was a member of Grace Point Worship Center in Midway.  She and her husband of 50 years, Ervin Barfield owned and operated "Alice and Erv's Sandwich Shop" for many years in St. Petersburg, Fla. and Clearwater, Fla. area. He preceded her in death.

Survivors are several nieces and nephews, including Alice Stoddard of Jesup, Annameria Minton of Kentucky, Sandy Barfield of Helen and Tammy Nash of Jesup, the families of Rick Barfield of St. Augustine, Fla., Gene Lyons of Bozeman, Mt., Janie Davis of Jesup, Julie Thornton of Mt., Sammy Lyons of Jesup and Jimmy Barfield of Tenn.

Graveside funeral services will be 2 PM Sunday, June 22, 2025 in Pinecrest Memorial Cemetery with Art Stoddard officiating.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 1:30 PM Sunday at the funeral home.
