Alan "Roy" Horne, 56, of Waverly, Ga. passed away on Sunday, October 12, 2025 after an extended illness. The Florida native had lived in Camden County and enjoyed fishing, going fast, and listening to loud music. He was a life-long mechanic and loved repairing his grandbabies' fast ride-on toys. He was preceded in death by his parents, Mary-anne and Malory Horne.

Survivors are his wife, Tina Horne; 3 daughters, Carla (EJ), Cassie (Jordan) and Heidi-Boo; a stepdaughter, Amelia (James); 6 grandchildren; two siblings, Carla and Ricky; and many family and beloved friends.

The family will hold a private service at a later date.
