Jesup, Ga.

LeRoy A. Gosseck, Sr. 76 of Jesup, Ga. died Monday, January 28, 2013 after an extended illness. The Milwaukee, Wisconsin native and former resident of Beaver Falls, Penn. had lived in Wayne County, Ga. the past 22 years, was an Army Veteran, serving in the Korean Conflict and a retired supervisor with P and LE Railroad Company. He attended Hinesville Holy Church of God and was an avid hunter and fisherman. His parents, George and Eva Gosseck preceded him in death along with his brothers, George Gosseck, Robert Gosseck and Louis Gosseck; two sisters, Elizabeth Gosseck and Aggie Bable; a daughter, Janet Gosseck.

Survivors are his wife of 23 years, Mary Ann Gosseck of Jesup, Ga.; 3 sons and daughters-in-law, Joseph L. and Jennifer Gosseck of Pinetta, Fla., Leroy Gosseck, Jr., Richard Gosseck, both of El Paso, Tx.; stepchildren, Terri and Stanley Zak, James and Dorothy Krepps, both of Jesup, Ga., Darin Krepps and fiancé Pamela Rhodes of Ludowici, Ga ; two brothers, Kenneth Gosseck of Milwaukee, Wis. and James Gosseck of Alma, Arkansas; 15 grandchildren; several great grandchildren; a special niece, Debbie and Gary Groover of Hinesville, Ga. and numerous other nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 2 P.M. Wednesday, January 30, 2013 at Rinehart and Sons Chapel with Rev. Jep Newberry officiating along with the American Legion Post 311’s presentation of the U.S. Flag. A private family interment will follow.

Visitation will be 1 to 2 P.M. prior to services at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of South Georgia, 1625 Sunset Blvd., Jesup, Ga. 31545.
